Over the years at The Camera’s Eye, I’ve gotten to know countless families through maternity photos, baby photos, family sessions, etc. It’s common for me to do a senior session for one sibling, and then have the younger sibling come in for their own session a few years down the road. This year, I’ve already had a couple of these sessions; however, we’re talking about two OLDER sisters who came in! Both ladies missed their senior sessions for different reasons and are now past high school- but the only time it’s ever too late for photography is if you NEVER schedule 🙂
I get to meet all sorts of high school seniors when it comes to senior portrait sessions at The Camera’s Eye. This includes seniors who are shy, those who aren’t sure what to wear, or those who are a little nervous when it comes to their first professional photography session. However…Mary, a 2015 senior from Owego Free Academy, definitely does NOT fall into any of these categories!
In addition to being a cheerleader, Mary is a total free spirit and loves having her picture taken – she’s been dying to get her senior photos done ever since she was a freshman. She really took to our outdoor settings and loved spending time posing in the flowers!
One of the reasons this senior session was so much fun was because Mary completely enjoyed being herself. As for senior style: To make sure her outfits matched her personality, Mary chose relatively casual clothes, both dresses and other outfits. She is a self-described “outdoorsy girl” with just “a hint of someone who loves to dress fancy.”
I think that her smile and the butterflies on her shirt say it all 🙂 Mary – thanks for letting The Camera’s Eye capture your senior session, and good luck in your senior year at OFA!
