Feathery Fun from last year’s “Duck In for Easter” Portraits!

Duck in for Easter PortraitsDuck in for Easter Portraits

Never heard of Portraits with Peter Cottontail & Friends?  That’s ok… take a peak at last year’s Duck in for Easter Portraits at The Camera’s Eye Studio.

These are some of the most hysterical, genuine and un-predictable children’s portrait sessions imaginable!  I think one thing will happen, and then it’s the total opposite.  One thing is for sure… it’s always fun to watch the children interact with the bunnies, chicks or ducks.  I actually think the parents and grandparents love it most.

Here’s how it works… Book your session any time between March 10th & the 18th, view your images in our online gallery, and your Easter Portraits will be delivered one week before Peter Cottontail arrives.  Every child that visits The Camera’s Eye receives a candy gift from Fuddy Duddy’s Fudge in Owego, NY,  and is entered to win one of Sue & Candy’s amazing Easter Baskets.  My niece & nephew are crazy about the chocolate bunnies!

Senior Announcement

Senior Graduation Announcements from The Camera’s Eye

Do you have a 2012 Senior?   Are you a 2012 Senior with the urge to stand out???

As the year zooms along and graduation slowly approaches, I am inundated with this question…”do you do graduation announcements?  Those fun ones.. not the ones you order from the school?”

Yes!  YES! YES!

Since most people only go through this once and don’t know all the in & outs… I think this is a great post topic for parents and Seniors alike.

We offer customized Senior Grad Announcements @ The Camera’s Eye  in all card sizes, layouts and papers.  THAT is the cool part and it’s also the overwhelming part.  YOU can choose as many Senior images as you would like to go on the card and can even use one side of a card as a framable gift to the recipient.  The wording is completely up to you and can include information about where you’re going to college or the details of your graduation party after the graduation ceremonies.  It’s literally limited ONLY by your imagination.

My favorite part… the paper.  I offer watercolor, linen, and pearl papers – they’re stunning and literally differentiate your announcement from one that is ordered on line.

I offer 8 sample templates to show you (several included here) to get your wheels turning.  Most seniors share their style, favorite color and 3 to 4 of their all time fav images and turn the creativity part over to me.  =)

I’d like to hear from you… what question didn’t I address about Senior Graduation Announcements?  What’s important to you?Senior Grad Card

First Bridal Show of 2012!

Tamara & James

Romance images at Hickories Park, Owego, NY

Treat yourself to tropical pineapple, kiwi and star fruit; as well as introduce yourself to two of the craziest wedding photogs in the industry in the Southern Tier of NY… all at the Owego Treadway Inn,  Sunday January 8th, 1 – 4 pm.

The bridal show is titled, “Something Bold,” and you guessed it… the theme is tropical.  We have adorned ourselves in bright orange (the fav color at The Camera’s Eye,  with complimentary hot pink and created a tropical fruit center piece spelling our studio name in sugar-sweet sand, a.k.a. Sugar in the Raw.

If you’re recently engaged, a bridesmaid, or a maid of honor; this is a great opportunity for you to touch &  feel wedding products, learn from seasoned professionals and meet the people behind the name you read about on-line or in the newspaper.

At The Camera’s Eye, this opportunity is more than just wedding photography… it’s about selling a wedding day experience.  As photographers, we are with you more than any other professionals you will hire for your special day.  Most of you see me, with camera in hand, before you have donned those fancy silk undies reading “bride” embroidered on the back and most of you say goodnight to us just before you hire the dj or band for one more beat-thumping hour… it’s just how it goes!

My advice to you… get to know your photographer(s) before you hire them.  Make sure, not only their photo style but their personality will match yours.   Once you have found that connection and you are hiring a true professional… the rest is a walk paradise!  Tropical pun intended!

Hope to see you tomorrow!  Oh, and to match our color theme, we’d like to showcase this Modern Image Album created exclusively for Tamara & James…
