A huge thank you to Laura for a great senior session with The Camera’s Eye! Best of luck in your last year at OFA 🙂
Thanks to ALL of my 2019 seniors and families! Senior sessions might be over, but it’s never too early to start thinking about grad announcements. And if you want to use any of your photos for holiday cards, I need your orders in by Dec 1.! Contact me today 🙂
Meet one of our 2019 seniors at The Camera’s Eye – MacKenzie, a soccer player from Maine Endwell!
MacKenzie is one of my many athletic seniors this year, and I really love her style! She brought a striking striped dress to the shoot, and a really soothing lavender top 🙂
She kept it simple and used her outfits to really capture her personality and style without going overboard, which I love!
You would never know from the photos that she had ACL surgery this summer – she was totally game to bring her brace along and take it off whenever we stopped to shoot.
You’d also never know that we had to reschedule three times due to the weather! Of course it was worth it – MacKenzie was amazing to work with, and we got just the right senior photo session to show her personality and style 🙂
We are booking up fast, but we still have a few slots for senior sessions in the next month or so! Contact us at The Camera’s Eye today 🙂
What I love MOST about doing senior photos with The Camera’s Eye is bringing out your passion and your personality! One of the best ways to do this is to bring your sport with you to your session session. Check out some recent shots from seniors at Owego Free Academy, Maine Endwell and Tioga:
Best of luck to all my seniors just starting their school year! And if you haven’t had a chance to book, contact The Camera’s Eye today! We still have a few spots left that will let you make your yearbook photo deadline 🙂
Every year, I find myself so impressed by the commitment of senior athletes, but especially this year! Everyone who has a senior session with The Camera’s Eye not only plays their sport in high school, but is also active on a traveling team. Each has their own unique story and this Waverly High School senior is no exception!
The daughter of a Volleyball coach, Sydney tagged along to practices, tournaments and all kinds of volleyball events as a young child. There’s no question where she got her love of the sport and honed her skills.
Sydney, good luck as you pursue your goal of playing volleyball on a college team!
Sarah is a rising senior at Waverly High School, and I am loving her senior session style! Sarah picked out her outfits by focusing on what represented her and what might be fun in her photos with The Camera’s Eye. As you can tell, she LOVES flowers.
She also loves St. Augustine, Florida and even hopes to go to college there! That’s where her T-shirt is from in the super casual and super gorgeous shot below:
Even though Sarah LOVES having her photo taken and feeling like a model, she was super nervous about her senior session…but she soon saw that I can make it FUN!
We tried lots of different scenes and managed to get something awesome out of every single one. I had a ton of fun with her session, and even added her to my Snapchat story that day 🙂
I could not WAIT to show you these gorgeous fall shots from Laura’s senior session with The Camera’s Eye!
Laura deliberately waited until school started to schedule her senior session – her summer was crazy busy and the school schedule forced her into a routine where we could set a time and date 🙂
Laura did a FAB job choosing her senior session clothing and keeping it natural! She wanted to get all kinds of different colors in there, which you can see in her various outfits.
Likewise, she kept her hair natural and curly – making it easy for her senior photos to look just like HER! Laura likes her hair down and her mom really wanted some shots with it up…so why not do both?
The temperature may not have felt like it the last couple of days, but autumn is HERE in the Southern Tier! The daily shooting times are getting shorter and yearbook deadlines are just around the corner – so contact The Camera’s Eye to book today!
Meet Hailey, a 2018 senior from Maine Endwell! We had an awesome senior session! Even better is the fact that I photographed her sister Erin two years ago, and I love working with the same family over the years!
Everyone has their own approach to planning out their senior photos, and Hailey didn’t spend a whole lot of time worrying about what to wear…which worked out great! She focused on choosing solids so they would stand out against whatever background I put her up against 🙂
And, for all my potential senior clients who are not thrilled abut having their photos taken…did you know that Hailey is part of your club? 😉 I promise I can make your senior photo session with The Camera’s Eye comfortable and maybe even FUN.
Slots for seniors with The Camera’s Eye are filling fast, so call or email today to book a session!
Still stressing about what to wear for your senior session with The Camera’s Eye? Solids with flair are always a safe choice! And what is flair? In these images, you will see the client’s favorite color with a material pattern, or a piece of material missing, or a string or subtle eyelet pattern to the shirt…
All of this is fantastic flair – it adds a little visual interest, but doesn’t distract from your face! Contact me today to set up your senior photos with The Camera’s Eye – we can chat more about how to get the best senior session for you 🙂
Students are always concerned about what to wear to their senior session, and they ALWAYS ask.. “should I avoid patterns?” As a general rule, yes, but…like all rules…I believe in breaking them for the good of photography ; )
If you bring patterns, I’ll either simplify the background so the pattern is the standout or, I’ll play with the colors in the pattern.
Q: What suggestions do you have for makeup for senior photos? I normally wear light foundation, eyeliner and mascara with a lip color.
A: Of course you want to look your best for your senior photos! So how can you use makeup to do that? I always tell my seniors – do exactly what you normally do, with just a HINT of extra blush for the camera.
This leaves you looking like YOU, and fabulously camera ready. Don’t forget some extra lip balm or blush to add that shimmer 🙂
NOW is the time to be scheduling your senior photos with The Camera’s Eye! Contact me today so we can figure out the when and where 🙂
